Towards Development IoT-Based Water Quality Monitoring System

The paper refers to the problem of developing a knowledge base for multidisciplinary research on IoT systems and providing prerequisites for practical use of these devices for industrial and municipal water monitoring. The study expands the current research on application of IoT for controlling water quality. The process of designing an IoT based water quality monitoring system for surface water is described. The perspectives and challenges when developing an IoT-based system for water quality monitoring are discussed.
