The Method of the organization Coordinated Work for Air Surveillance in MIMO Radar

The work analyzes the disadvantages of existing monostatic radar and the advantages of multistatic radar systems in detecting low radar cross section and small-size aircraftes. It was proposed to use several existing single-type surveillance radar as elements of a small-base synchronous multistatic radar system, in order to improve the detection targets quality. The issue of providing the coordinated radar surveillance in the system is solved the antennas synchronous rotation in space and timed synchronous work. Such system is achieved a higher value of the ratio signal-to-noise at the expense of more rational using of energy and, as a result, information redundancy in the area formed by the antenna patterns intersection. The calculations of the detection zone parameters of the multistatic radar system are carried out by the mathematical model method.
