Development of an Immediate Feedback System of Movement Speed and Performance with a Piezoelectric Sensor and its Application in Sport Training

The aim of the paper is to devise an instrument that can immediately and accurately measure supporting time (ST) and flying time (FT) so as to estimate and monitor the related training variables of Drop Jump. The instrument contains an integrated circuit board with an 89C52 single chip, which has required programs written by assembly language. Then the instrument is connected to piezoelectric sensor to enable it to measure ST and FT, which will be shown on the LCD display. The measured data will then be transferred to a connected computer for storage and further analysis.
