Web SDR-based QoS Monitoring System for Wireless Networks Analysis

This article discusses the use of the WebSDR platform, which allows using the software-defined radio (SDR) technology to independently configure the receiver for several users simultaneously. It allows not only listening the sound, but also monitor wireless networks of various ranges (including mobile communication network, broadcasting). This paper describes a monitoring system prototype based on the RTL - SDR broadband radio scanner dongle in relation to the analogue radio broadcasting in the 87.5 - 108.0 MHz band and. An option of using the developed system in practice is presented.
