Uniaxial High Strain Rate Tension with the Use of Magnetic Pulse Method

The high energy density of magnetic field makes it possible to use pulsed magnetic systems for generation of controlled pressure pulses of microsecond duration. The paper proposes a test scheme for uniaxial tension of plastic materials with a high strain rate, which is most convenient for analyzing the results.
