Design of a Low-Profile High-Gain Filtering Antenna with Low SAR for 5G Application

In this paper, we presented a compact high gain antenna with low SAR value having filtering characteristics for sub-6-GHz fifth generation (5G) applications. The antenna is composed of a microstrip feedline, a ground plane with two slots, a metallic via, and a non-uniform metasurfaces.
