Human Target Respiration Pattern Recognition Based on Vital-SAR-Imaging

Human targets positioning based on SAR imaging and recognition based on breathing patterns at the same time have attracted great interest these years. It has many potential applications., including home security, user authentication, and health monitoring. In this paper, a human target localization and recognition system based on frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar is proposed. The system has been tested and verified by 10 test subjects. The accuracy of unique identification is 92%. The experimental results demonstrate the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method.
