Dihedral Group Matrix: A password security Approach

Any intruder come with intension to break into the online web-based system, his first job is to crack the password. Mostly, password security is compromised. Most of the user put strong and complex password, but as intruders used password cracking software which work as string matching software to get similar string as the password have, by trying lakhs of combinations. We introduced a technique based on the application of dihedral group matrix in this paper. We store the password as the dihedral group. Through the proposed technique, we are minimizing the probability of matching of the password string with string put in place of the password by the intruder and minimizing possibility of obtaining password. Therefore, the proposed technique will enhance the password.
