The Research on Modeling and Simulation of Wave Adaptive Vessel

In order to solve the problem of poor seakeeping capability of traditional rescue boats under severe ocean environment, a rescue boat with wave adaptive capability was designed by the means of multiple hinged components, pontoon of vibration isolation, and suspension mechanism of vibration absorbing. Through analysis of the vessel design structure, a three-body dynamic simulation model was established. By analyzing the dynamic relation of the model, combining the Matlab simulation technology and operating the model under the simulated wave excitation, the heave motion data of the model was obtained. The results show that this kind of wave adaptive structure can weaken the influence of sea on main body and improve the seakeeping capability of vessels.
