Steady-State Flow Force Calculation of the First Stage in a Deflector Jet Servo Valve

In order to calculate the flow force generated by the first stage jet on the deflector of the deflector jet servo valve, the jet region is divided into pressure jet region, three-dimensional free jet region and walled mixed jet region, the mathematical model of three-dimensional jet steady flow force analysis of deflector is established. Furthermore, the three-dimensional flow field simulation model of the flow force is built. The steady-flow force under different supply pressures and different deflector displacements is analyzed. The simulation results are in close agreement with the results obtained by the calculation formula and the steady flow force is proportional to the deflector displacement. This study provides a feasible method and technology for the development and optimization of the deflector servo valve.
