An Automated Approach to Supervising and Controlling of Computer Laboratory over LAN

As technology is evolving much faster, the need for learning through practical session have got much more significance over theoretically studying the subject. In addition to this, most subjects in universities and institutes are required to study by performing practical demonstrations on computer software along with taking theoretical knowledge to understand and grasp the subject completely. A common problem teacher faces while conducting computer lab sessions is an inability to monitor every student and assess their progress of the thought subject. This is due to improper lab layout that doesn't allow teachers to view every student's computer screen. To overcome this problem, we have designed system software which provides the best view and easy interactive graphical layout where the teacher can perfectly manage and monitor all students' activities performing on their computer in the lab so that the student will efficiently learn the subject and can give their full focus during lab sessions. This system software leads to maintain the security of the lab. A detailed discussion of these aspects is discussed in this paper.
