Harmonic Magnetic Field Analysis based on UHVDC Smoothing Reactor

In order to comprehensively analyze the harmonic magnetic field of dry-type smoothing reactor for UHVDC transmission, this paper deduces the calculation method of static magnetic field and harmonic magnetic field distribution of UHVDC smoothing reactor, and obtains the magnetic field distribution of the main body of smoothing reactor under actual operating conditions. From the calculation results, the magnetic field intensity of the reactor gradually decreases from inside to outside, the maximum value appears in the innermost envelope, and the vibration is the most violent. In the design of smoothing reactor, the power of each envelope can be adjusted by the distribution of harmonic current, so as to reduce vibration and noise, and realize the optimal design of reactor. The research results of this paper make up for the deficiencies in the current design of smoothing reactor, and effectively improve the operational reliability of smoothing reactor.
