A Cellular Automata-based Healthcare Data Encryption Technique for IoT Networks

The IoT devices used for healthcare data monitoring have very limited memory and power. In general conventional encryption and decryption algorithms are not suitable for IoT applications because of their complexities and power requirements. In this paper, we propose a cellular automata (CA)-based encryption technique for ECG healthcare data. Lightweight CA is suitable for IoT devices because it does not use redundant data for encryption.
