Study on Shielding Effectiveness of Multilayer Electromagnetic Shielding Fabrics Containing Multiple Wave-absorbing Fibers

In order to study the effect of absorbing fiber on the shielding effectiveness of multilayer electromagnetic shielding fabric, in this paper, carbon yarn, graphene yarn and stainless steel yarn are blended, weaving electromagnetic shielding fabric with electromagnetic shielding effectiveness. These fabrics are combined with reflective metal fabric to test their shielding effectiveness. The shielding effectiveness of single-layer and double-layer fabrics was tested in a wide-band microwave range of 1GHz to 18GHz using a small window method. The study found that: 1) Single-layer fabric electromagnetic shielding effectiveness is less than double-layer electromagnetic shielding fabric with absorbing fiber, Single-layer fabrics have shielding effectiveness and reflectivity of up to 41 dB and -4.6 dB, while double-layer fabrics have shielding effectiveness and reflectivity of up to 74dB and -7.2 dB; 2) In a certain range, increase the content and density of the absorbing material, and the shielding effectiveness and reflectivity are significantly increased: The 100% silver diamond lattice is used as the reflective metal fabric, matched with the weaved blended fabric with absorbent properties, Among them, it is matched with a fabric with a ratio of graphene and carbon yarn of 2 : 1, the shielding effectiveness range is 50 dB-70 dB, and the reflectivity at high frequency is -3.2 dB; The fabric is matched with a 3 : 1 ratio of graphene yarn to carbon yarn, with a shielding effectiveness ranging from 53dB to 74 dB and a high frequency reflectivity of -7.2 dB. This paper has guiding significance for the design, production and evaluation of new high-performance absorbing electromagnetic shielding fabrics.
