Study on the Characteristics of Mercury-based Electromagnetic Metamaterials and Its Temperature Sensing Technology

In this paper, we study the working mechanism, resonant structure, and design method of mercury-based electromagnetic metamaterials, as well as the mechanism and approach to achieve high Q factor, high sensitivity. We also explore the analysis process of mercury-based electromagnetic metamaterials under different types of resonant modes (Anapole, Fano, and EIT), including the resonance Q-factor characteristics and its control mechanism, study the variation and dynamic range of the resonance characteristics.
