Compact Microwave Passive Components Based on the Metamaterial Unit Cells

In this paper, the research achievements for the compact microwave passive components based on the new kind of metamaterial unit cell are presented. The discussed microwave passive components include the basic bandpass filter, diplexer, and triplexer. The fundamental realization mechanism, the numerical optimization, and the experimental demonstration for those several components are presented in this paper.
