Fault Diagnosis of 12-phase Synchronous Rectified Power System

Fault diagnosis of the 12-phase synchronous rectification power generation system (12-Phase SRPGS) helps to ensure the safety and stability operation of the integrated electric propulsion system. The traditional fault diagnosis method is mostly based on the qualitative analysis of the harmonic content of the output signal. However, the 12-Phase SRPGS has complex structure and many kinds of faults. The common kinds of faults may contain harmonics with the same number of times. The traditional method has no better distinction effect on this kind of fault. In order to distinguish the fault, this paper proposed a fuzzy pattern recognition method based on harmonic, the method based on FFT and wavelet packet decomposition, the output voltage of 12-Phase SRPGS for signal processing, the characteristics obtained the harmonic content voltage and the frequency band energy of output voltage, based on the least square method, the function fitting of the characteristic vector and its load is carried out. The fault mode of 12-phase SRPGS under arbitrary load can be effectively detected by calculating the closeness between the characteristic vector of the output voltage collected under certain load and the standard fuzzy symptom set.
