The design of Stores Management System Simulator based on Plug-in technology

The main function of stores management system (SMS) is to control weapon launching reliably and safely. In the development of the aircraft, its demand for weapon is increasing, which lead to the software of SMS redevelopment and upgrade maintenance. To solve these problems, the concept of plug and play weapon was brought out. This paper established a SMS simulator and applied the plug-in technology in it thus realizing the rapid integration of new weapons' launch and control capabilities without modifying main program or just little modification. First, the basic principles of plug-in technology and plugin's realization mode were introduced. After that, building on the compositions and functions of SMS, several key technologies were summarized when the plug-in technology was used in SMS. In addition, the solutions of key technologies, such as the functions of the integrated platform of SMS and plug-ins, the design of plug-in interface and the calling process of plug-in were described in detail. In order to verify the effectiveness of SMS simulator, a closed-loop demonstration system was designed based on the weapon system simulator, the SMS simulator and the display and control system simulator. In the end, the simulation proved the effectiveness of our method, which not only improved the situation of weapon integration effectively, but also built a foundation for the further study of plug and play technology.
