Generalize IoT Device's Client Application with Virtual Machine

With the spread of IoT, many companies provide IoT Platform with own SDK and it makes hard to make general-purpose IoT Device. In order to make IoT devices more general, We consider splitting the application in IoT Device into hardware depended part and client part, and encapsulating client part application in Virtual Machine (VM). And we also considered to make a simple interface to communicate between Host OS and Guest OS because of splitting application. In this paper, We describe about some Virtualization Technologies and why I try to make like this system.
