Tuning of optical properties of Cu doped BTO thin films fabricated by PLD Technique

Pure BTO and Cu-BTO thin films are fabricated onto quartz substrate via PLD technique. Linear and nonlinear optical characterization of the thin films are carried out by using UV-Vis-NIR Spectrometer and modified Z-scan technique using cw Ar-Ion Laser at 488 nm wavelength, respectively. Effect of inclusion of Cu layer on BTO host matrix on absorbance and nonlinear optical properties have been studied.
