Abstract:
In this paper, a multi-source clustering based tracking algorithm is proposed to address the multi-target tracking (MTT) problem with distributed radar network (DRN). Firstly, the multi-source clustering algorithm is proposed to estimate the target locations and differentiate the nearby targets at each scan. Then, a monostatic radar MTT algorithm, leaning against the nearest neighbor cheap joint probabilistic data association (NNCJPDA) approach, is put forward to track multiple targets. Comparing with the conventional MTT method relying on the correlations of tracks, our proposed algorithm considers the correlations within measurements, achieving a reduction in the computation load. Besides, due to the good property of the multi-source clustering algorithm, the nearby targets can also be effectively tracked. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by providing numerical simulations.
