Analysis and Design of a Circularly Polarized Reflector antenna

In this paper, A novel center symmetrical antenna element is employed in a circularly polarized reflector array, whose position of feeding point is fixed even with different rotated angle. Furthermore, this element uses vertical interconnection structure to replace the RF connector in order to lower the weight and the cost. By commercial simulation software HFSS, the simulated reflectarray model and the radiation pattern and axial ratio are all shown, which shows good circularly polarized characters.
