Application of Sneak Circuits in Power Electronic Converters

Sneak circuits are some circuit paths that objectively existed in power electronic converter, therefore there may have positive effect in power converter if sneak circuits can be made good use of. This chapter introduces how to make use of sneak circuit to improve the performance of power converter, realize topology reconstruction of power converter, design some new functions of power converter and diagnose faults of power converter concretely with some examples, which is conducive to further promote the use of sneak circuit and its analysis method in power electronic converters.
