Radar Coherent Detection and Parameter Estimation for Maneuvering Target Based on KT-CICPF

In recent years, target detection has drawn more and more attention in the field of radar signal processing. This paper addresses the coherent integration problem for detecting radar maneuvering targets involving range migration (RM) and Doppler frequency migration (DFM). A novel method based on keystone transform (KT) and coherent integration cubic phase function (CICPF) is proposed. In specific, the RM is firstly removed by KT and fold factor phase compensation. Then, the CICPF estimates velocity and acceleration of target. Finally, the coherent integration is achieved after compensating the RM and DFM. Both simulations and real data processing results validate the performance of proposed method.
