The Position Estimation of Electronic Throttle Based on Kalman-like Estimator

In this paper, the mathematical model of electronic throttle system including reset spring model and viscous friction model is established. Aiming at the interference of non-Gaussian white noise on the position measurement of electronic throttle, a kalman-like estimator is designed, which approximates the minimum mean square error (MMSE) filter. Kalman-like estimator is used to filter the given input signal and compared with standard kalman filter (KF). Simulation results show that the proposed strategy based on kalman-like estimator has high accuracy and robustness, and can meet the control requirements of electronic throttle.
