Crosstalk Aware Global Routing of Graphene Nanoribbon Based Circuits

Graphene nanoribbon based interconnects have several advantages over traditional interconnects in terms of power dissipation and delay. These interconnects can be bent only in 0°, 60° and 120° angles. Hence underling routing grid of graphene nanoribbon are aligned in these mentioned degrees only. This kind of routing grid is known as triangular routing grid. Routing of graphene nanoribbon based circuit in triangular routing grid have already been reported in literature. But, to the best of our knowledge none of the work focuses on the crosstalk minimization. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for the construction of global routing tree of graphene nanoribbon based circuit considering the minimization of crosstalk talk effect. The algorithm is tested on a random data set and the result obtained is quite encouraging.
