A Review On Recent Approaches to Recommendation System Model Using Distinct Product Features

Recently, area of recommendation systems have achieved great popularity due to its applicability in the various business domains. Recommendation is an information filtering problem along with some criteria on the basis of which usefulness of an item is decided for a particular user. Each of the criteria defines the separate class of the recommendation problem i.e. collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid recommendation systems. In this article, we first discuss the applicability of the recommendation systems in multiple areas. We also discuss the importance of item features in making recommendations more relevant. Next, we discuss the baseline models for content based, collaborative based filtering.
