Characteristic Studies on a Novel Symmetrical Spoof Surface Plasmon Polaritons Transmission Line

Transmission line is the basic of electronic devices. Microstrip transmission line is widely used due to its low cost and easy processing. Here, we have a study on the symmetrical spoof surface plasmon polaritons transmission line. Both simulation and experimental results show that the SPP TL proposed in the article has a cut-off frequency of Ka-band and it has much smaller loss than the traditional transmission lines. Hence, the SPP TL may push forward the development of low-loss circuits.
