Design of Continuous Class-J Power Amplifier with Reconfigurable Bandwidth and Center Frequency

Based on the theory of tunable filter and the variation characteristic of fundamental-/second harmonic-impedances in Class-J mode, a continuous class-BJ Power Amplifier (PA) with reconfigurable structure is designed by improving the output matching network topology. Through simulation and experimental verification, the reconfigurable continuous class-J PA obtains the reconfigurable bandwidth and center frequency around 1.3GHz.
