Performance Measurement of Radio over Fiber System at 20 GHz and 30 GHz by Employing with and without Optical Carrier Suppression

The proposed research article presents the millimeter-wave signal generation method & its performance evaluation for radio-over-fiber system. We are using a Li-Nb MZM (Mach-Zehnder modulators) and Delay Interferometer for proposed system. The Delay Interferometer split the optical beam in to two equal intensity beams, in to the two arms of the optical Mach Zehnder. Due to this the one beam is delayed by an optical path difference. The Bessel’s function performs the generation of the millimeter wave signals which are found at 20 GHz with carrier & 30 GHz with the optical carrier suppression. The desired RF signals are found with the sharp observation at 20 & 30 Ghz comparatively with the remaining undesired terms. Further, the BER analyzer is used to show the performance of the proposed mm wave generation method. The analytical model for transmission & reception is confirmed by simulations using commercial simulation software. BER analyzer gives good eye opening for both generated mm waves. The simulation results show that our proposed system have good signal to noise ratio performance and its playing an important role in implementing & synthesizing RoF System for Next generation Networks.
