All-Optical Paths across Multiple Hierarchical Levels in Large Metropolitan Area Networks

This paper proposes a procedure for node-to-level path computation and applies it to a semi-synthetic huge MAN of 2,800 nodes. Results show key practical average and worst-case target references useful for MAN technology designers.
