Blended Learning with Telegram: An Approach using Soft System Methodology to Solve Multi-Perspective Problem in Learning Limitation

STT Terpadu Nurul Fikri (STT-NF), as a private tertiary educational institution, experiences problems related to the student's timeline of practical work that conflict with the next semester's period. On the other hand, the concept of blended learning has the potential to overcome the problems of time and space limitations in learning activities. The implementation of online learning is often driven by the mindset of necessity to utilize a learning system, which requires considerable resources. Accordingly, this discussion offers analysis about: a less-cost blended learning model, a solution to time-space limited learning, and a method that can comprehensively address all multi-perspectives issues. The chosen approach is soft-system methodology. This research produces a blended learning model using Telegram, specifically designed to fit specific characteristics of the course classes, the students, lecturers, and the educational institution.
