Research of Mesh Electrode Application in ECM of Nickel-based Super Alloy

This research aiming at the current situation problem of poor universality in ECM of nickel-based super alloy, proposed a new machining mode by using the mesh electrode jump and sway and external flushing. The subject found a stable machining way befitting mesh electrode through series experiments and verified the effects of the sway radius to the surface roughness. After that, they discussed the applicable prospect of the mesh electrode by the experiments of larger area electrode and curved surface electrode.
