A Method of Power Line Hanging Point Location Based on LiDAR Data

The accurate location of power line hanging point is an important prerequisite to realize the analysis of transmission line safety distance under simulated working conditions. In order to realize high precision and efficient spatial coordinate positioning of power line hanging point, a power line hanging point positioning method based on lidar data is proposed. First of all, according to the spatial characteristics of power line point clouds, a region growth algorithm based on power line spatial constraints is proposed to realize the segmentation of a single power line. Then, based on the angular bisection line of the center point of the tower, the spatial segmentation plane of each power line is established, and the local polynomial 3d reconstruction of the power line point cloud near each segmentation plane is carried out. Finally, combined with the segmentation plane, the spatial location of the power line suspension point is completed by iteratively searching and calculating the intersection of the reconstructed power line. In the experiment, for the transmission line point clouds with different voltage levels and different data quality, the average deviation of the power line hanging point position is less than 0.08m. The results show that the method can locate the power line suspension points in each voltage level and various quality point cloud data quickly and accurately, and has good practical value for the security analysis of power line simulation.
