Simulation Research of Ocean Environment Noise Spatial Correlation

Spatial correlation is one of the most important physical characteristics of ocean environment noise, which is closely related to underwater acoustic engineering. In this paper, the spatial correlation of ocean environment noise is investigated based on numerical simulation. The relations of array cross-correlation coefficient and spatial cross-spectrum versus element interval, element number, noise field characteristic and investigation frequency are analyzed in detail. The results could provide some reference for underwater array optimal design and noise suppression.
