The Analysis and Application of The Mechanical Structures Effect on The Ball and Plate System Based on The Nonlinear Mechanical Kinetics

The researches of the ball and plate system were mainly testing or comparing the controllability or the control performance of different control strategies, the rotational Kinetics of the researches were assumed under an ideal condition, the mechanical structures effect on the system were not discussed. For obtaining the effects and giving a mechanical design method of the system, this paper analyzed the mechanical structures effect on the rotational nonlinear Kinetics of the system and proposed an independent factor analysis method to confirm the optimal parameters of the structures. Using the confirmed parameters, the effects on the coordinates and the rotational angular ranges of the motors and plate were obtained. And then the mechanical and mathematical models were designed. By the characteristics of the designed system, a PD control strategy with the setting laws of the gains was used. The testing results show the proposed analysis method is feasibility and applicable to the system and the other similar systems.
