Reduction of optical background noise in BOCDA distributed strain measurement technology by synthesizing frequency modulation waveform of light source

Brillouin optical correlation domain analysis has already presented high performance. However, it makes the system configuration complicated. We propose a method that simplifies the system configuration by synthesizing frequency modulation waveform of light source. In the experiment, we can suppress the background noise while simplifying the system.
