Comprehensive Evaluation of Grid Adaptability Considering Rolling Access of Cascade Power Stations

This paper proposes the adaptive assessment index system on the source-grid side, mainly focus on the rolling evolution characteristics of cascaded hydropower stations. The index system reflects the balance and coordination between large-scale cascade hydropower stations access to the grid and reflects the adjustment capability between the upstream and downstream of the cascade hydropower from the power supply side. Then the evaluation method based on fuzzy entropy weight method is used to comprehensively evaluate the proposed rolling access plan of cascade hydropower. Finally, based on the IEEE39 bus system, the adaptability of cascade hydropower stations connected to a real river basin is evaluated comprehensively. The sequence of access on the cascade hydropower and the evolution of the grid structure are studied to quantitatively reflect the mutual relationship between the source and grid through the adaptive index. The results of the example show that the mentioned adaptive index system and evaluation method can effectively reflect the adaptability of the cascade power station to the grid in many aspects.
