Influence of Distribution Network Under Distributed power access on Relay Protection

With the vigorous development of distributed generation, especially the large-scale intermittent renewable energy access, the uncertainty of distribution network load forecasting, planning and operation has increased, which brings challenges to the stable operation of the distribution network. In order to solve the above problems and eliminate the influence of distributed power access on distribution network relay protection, this paper first briefly introduces several forms evolved during the development of distribution network, and then outlines the key technologies in different forms of distribution network. The Matlab/Simulink is used to build a radial distribution network, and the power flow variation of the distribution network under distributed power access is discussed. Finally, opinions and suggestions on relay protection of the distribution network under distributed power access are put forward.
