A Comprehensive Evaluation method of DC Protection System Based on IAHP Method

The direct current protection system is facing many problems, such as security disturbance, complex equipment and inefficient operation and maintenance and so on. In this paper it presents a comprehensive evaluation method of DC protection system based on IAHP(interval analytic hierarchy process) to provide effective guidance for operation control and management maintenance. Firstly, the basic structure of DC protection system is briefly described, and a comprehensive evaluation index system of DC protection system is constructed from three aspects of operation safety, equipment reliability and operation, maintenance and repair, considering the effectiveness of management and operations of the DC protect system. Secondly, considering the fuzziness of experts’ ratings, an evaluation method based on interval analytic hierarchy process is proposed, and the detailed steps of solving the index weights are elaborated. Finally, an actual case verifies rationality and feasibility of the proposed evaluation index system and evaluation method, in order to provide reference for operation and maintenance of the DC protection system.
