Distributed Generation Planning of Active Distribution Network Considering Reactive Power Adjustment

WTG and PVG are regarded as uncontrollable distributed generations. Nevertheless, WTG and PVG have strong reactive power adjustment capability. Therefore, this paper proposed a distributed generation planning method of active distribution network considering reactive power adjustment of DG. Time-sequence model of DG is employed to describe the volatility and uncertainty and a bi-level model is established. The main problem of the model is siting and sizing of DG, while the sub-problem of the model is active management measures of active distribution network in every scenario. DPSO and NSGA II algorithms are used to alternating computed the optimal functions of main and subproblems. Finally, Simulation tests based on IEEE 33 bus system were carried out to verify the proposed method.
