Economic Optimal Configuration of Mico-gas turbine and Storage Device in an Integrated Energy System Based on Genetic Algorithm

Integrated energy system always works under poor economy because of its own characteristics. In order to improve the economic benefits, this paper studies the optimization scheme in configuration stage. For an integrated system in residential community building that located in a hot in summer and cold in winter region, a mixed integer nonlinear programming model is established, with configuration and operation economic performances all being considered at the same time. The model is simplified reasonably and then solved by the genetic algorithm, which is proved suitable for this problem. Moreover, after adding initial seeds, the solver efficiency can be improved. The differences between other strategies and the economic optimal strategies are compared, and the improvement direction of this system economy is qualitatively analyzed. Result shows that the most important optimization factors are the energy storage equipment and the peak-valley electricity price.
