Application of Ultrasonic Flaw Detection Technology in Crimping Quality Inspection of Line Hardware

In this study, targeted at dead zone in supervision of new aluminum-alloy-core aluminum conductor when applied in hardware crimping fabrication, a quality detection method for line hardware was proposed based on ultrasonic flaw detection technology and laboratory verification of ultrasonic detection of the conductor crimping depth was performed. An ultrasonic on-site inspection program was presented, and the effect of ultrasonic flaw detection technology on line crimping quality inspection was demonstrated with an engineering application example.
