Technologies Raise the Effectiveness of Airport Security Control

Over the last two decades, airports worldwide have significantly ramped up security in response to emerging threats. Meanwhile, rising passenger expectations have put pressure on major airports to bolster throughput, cut queues and make boarding procedures as seamless as possible. However, the conventional time-consuming ways of security control become the bottleneck of boarding procedures. How to break through this bottleneck without compromise of enhanced security? The answer is to harness the power of new technologies, in particular biometric identification technology, advanced imaging technology, and CT technology for passenger's baggage.
