About Aerodynamic Design of a Coanda Effect UAV

This paper presents some considerations concerning aerodynamic configuration of a Coanda effect UAV. There are some configurations usually used for Coanda effect UAV, but they use to disadvantage constructive elements, leading to important energy losses and limiting possibilities this configuration dispose. This paper proposes an improved configuration of this UAV type and a comparison with multi-rotor UAV configuration is performed.
