Competency-Based Approach in the After-School Education as Innovative Methods

Review of the basic principles of after-school education with a competency-based approach. The main provisions on the competency approach and its use in after-school education in Ukraine are presented. The content and methodology of after-school education based on the competence approach have been developed. The main attention is paid to the realization of cognitive, practical, creative and social competences in the areas of after-school education.
