Design and Characterization of a Yagi Uda Antenna Array for Weather Monitoring

Radar Reflectivity measurement for weather monitoring is a well known approach for scientists all over the world. In this paper a Yagi-Uda antenna is designed and experimentally verified intended to be used for weather monitoring applications. The antenna is further used as an element of planar array designed and simulated for gain enhancement required for atmospheric applications.
