Subjective Evaluation of The Correlation of Pop Music Emotion and Lighting Color

Through a music emotion labeling experiment and the music-light color correlation experiment, the relationship between sadness, soothing, excitement, heroic and happiness five kinds of music emotions and light color is discussed from the perspective of the audience. The experimental results show that the five music emotions have a significant influence on the light color. The mapping relationship between the five music emotions and the light color obtained from the experimental data can provide reference suggestions for the lighting designer to select the light color that matches the musical emotion, thereby further improving the audiovisual experience.
