Effects of Hypoglycemic Anti-Deafness Prescription on Insulin Resistance in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus and Deafness

Objective to investigate the effect of hypoglycemic anti - deafness prescription on insulin resistance in patients with diabetes mellitus and deafness. Methods: the fasting blood glucose (FPG), fasting insulin (FINS) and insulin sensitive index (IAI) were measured in42 cases (84 ears) with diabetes mellitus with different syndromes and deafness before and after treatment with hypoglycemic anti-deafness prescription. The control group was 40 normal subjects. Results compared with normal people, patients with different syndromes had different degrees of insulin resistance before treatment, and showed abnormal FPG, FINS and IAI (P<; 0.05). IAI index: Yin deficiency with heat and heat, qi and Yin deficiency with heat and heat, Yin and Yang deficiency with heat and heat, Yin and Yang deficiency with heat- and heat, Yin and Yang deficiency with heat and heat. Conclusion: hypoglycemic anti-deafness prescription can improve insulin resistance in patients with diabetes mellitus.
