The Design of a Duplex Feed Antenna in SATCOM on-the-Move System

In traditional satellite communication, fixed position communication base station can guarantee static real-time communication to satellite, but can not guarantee it in motion, and the SATCOM on-the-move system can solve this problem. Aiming at the mobile satellite ground station communication system and realizing the duplex communication of the whole system, this paper designs a corrugated horn duplex feed with waveguide duplexer applied to the SATCOM on-the-move system at Ku band. The frequency bands of this feed antenna are 12.25 -12.75GHz and 14.0- 14.5GHz, respectively (Typical frequency of Ku-band satellite communication). The reflection coefficient of waveguide duplexer is lower than -18dB, and the reflection coefficient of this duplex feed is lower than -15dB. The out-band suppression is greater than 95dB.
